※ GFP-Atg8 Dataset Download

※ For training and testing DeepPhagy model for the prediction of autophagic phenotype, we manually labelled 216 images as a benchmark dataset, by judging whether GFP signals can be identified within the vacuole. ※ We conducted a time-course analysis of nitrogen starvation-induced autophagy in wild-type and knockout mutants of 35 AuTophaGy-related (ATG) genes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae using GFP-Atg8 as marker. Using the "DeepPhagy" program, we automatically analysed the 1,944 images. The orignal image data in TIF format can be downloaded here, and the DeepPhagy-labelled images can be downloaded here.

※ For testing the performance of DeepPhagy for monitoring the targeting of Atg1-GFP to the vacuole, we manually labelled 48 images by judging whether GFP signals can be identified within the vacuole. ※ We conducted a time-course analysis of WT, atg13Δ, atg17Δ, atg19Δ, atg21Δ, atg23Δ, atg24Δ and atg26Δ using Atg1-GFP as marker upon nitrogen starvation-induced autophagy. ※ Disintegration of autophagic bodies Dataset

※ For re-training of DeepPhagy for monitoring disintegration of autophagic bodies indicated by GFP-Atg8, we manually labelled 108 images of atg15Δ and atg22Δ mutants by judging whether GFP signals are accumulated or dispersed inside the vacuole. ※ We re-analysed 486 GFP-Atg8 images of the WT and 8 ATG KO strains including atg1Δ, atg15Δ, atg17Δ, atg19Δ, atg21Δ, atg22Δ, atg23Δ and atg26Δ.
